Do you have questions about garage door openers and their parts? Check out these FAQs

Can I replace the cables on my own?

It's best to avoid getting involved in high risk garage door repairs. Our professionals say that cables are under tension since they're stretched and connected with the springs. If you don't replace them properly, the door won't move right, and you'll be placed in danger.

How do I know the springs are damaged?

If the garage door doesn't open when all other parts work fine, the springs are broken. If the door doesn't open with ease or closes down with greater force, the springs are damaged and must be replaced so you will avoid accidents.

I'm building a new garage. What size does the rough opening need to be?

Your new rough opening needs to be the same size as the garage door you'll be purchasing. The exterior should be finished using an outside stop molding or perimeter seal so rain and outside elements are sealed out. Our technicians will be happy to help you with the installation of your new door and we have a wide selection of models to choose from. Just give us a call.
